2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6

Description

This is rare with only 2466 sold in America SRT6 Coupe Model Powered by a 350 HP Mercedes Benz AMG 3.2 L Supercharged Kompressor V6. This SRT engine internally has not been modified and completely stock. Intercooler pump was replaced with new better than factory part and air filters were replaced with factory fitting K&N performance washable filters. Very clean car with zero rust. Runs, drives and stops as it should. Adult owned with a clean VIN check. A blast to drive and a great performer at the cost of a used Honda Civic. 0-60 and 1/4 Miles times match 2022 cars that cost ,000+Styling that stands out in the crowd of Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers. A modern classic. Interior excellent. No stains, rips, holes in seats. Dash is excellent. Body & paint very good with a small ding front passenger side fender shown in photo with light bumper damage.
I have had many sport and muscle cars (Corvettes, Challenger R/T, 1970-72 Mustang Mach 1, 1968 427 Camaro, 1969 Chevelle SS and more) and this one holds up to most as far as performance and enjoyable to drive

THE SRT-6 TRUE ENGINE PERFORMANCE FIGURES At the launch of the SRT-6, as mentioned above, the official performance figures of the SRT-6 was lowered due to a marketing strategy. The Mercedes SLK R170 32 AMG was supposed to be superior in performance and to be seen as more luxurious than the SRT-6. It had to be worth its higher MSRP price tag of ,000 compared to the SRT-6 having the base price tag of ,820 (coupe) ,170 (roadster). The solution was to market the SRT-6 with lower performance figures, for example the BHP was promoted being only 330 BHP instead of its true 349 BHP (354 PS). Chrysler officials and members in the SRT-6 manufacturing team have confirmed this information. The statement from Jeff Reece, Crossfire Development Engineer found in the SRT-6 History video "... SLK 32 AMG claimed about 350 BHP... Same engine (as SRT-6)...and we had better cooling... so our output should have been a bit higher..." gives us even more tangible proof backing up this story. Therefore, this SRT-6 engine pumps out 260kW at 6100 rpm and 450Nm at 4400 rpm. 349 BHP (354 PS) stock was and still is a high amount of power and torque into such a small body. With a good launch you can reach 0-60 mph in this automatic transmission car in 4.8 seconds and running the 1/4 mile in 13 seconds!So what have the engineers done to this V6 engine to so radically increase its power in the SRT-6? As you might expect, it's no ordinary bolt-on conversion. The 90-degree V6 was heavily revised for its new high-boost forced aspiration role with the supercharger. Interestingly, most internal alterations were aimed at improving durability, rather than breathing.
