Classic Bradley & Hubbard Bookends, Dickens & Whittier, circa 1920-30's

Description

For Your Consideration: A classic pair of Bradley & Hubbard bronzed and painted cast iron bookends depicting images of Charles Dickens and John Greenleaf Whittier. These highly detailed bookends are probably early 1920's castings that Bradley & Hubbard made in two pieces joined together with screws. Later 1930's versions were cast as one piece. They measure 6" high x 4 7/8" wide x 2 5/8" deep and weigh a substantial 6 lbs., 4.8 ozs.  Together they will make a handsome addition to any desk or bookcase. Thanks for looking.

The item must be returned via the original carrier (unless agreed otherwise in writing), in its original packaging, insured (if available) for its purchase price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you. We recommend you use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt. After the seller verifies the returned item is as originally sent, a full refund will be issued within 3 days.
Damaged Item Procedure
: Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance. To begin the process, please contact the seller and alert them to the damage. Claims should be made through the original shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier so please check with the carrier for specific instructions. Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item, as the shipping agent will request to examine them. In the event that you, the buyer, files the claim, the seller will provide you with the necessary insurance information.
