Classic Sailing Ship "Flying Cloud" Bookends, Connecticut Foundry, Circa 1929

For Your Consideration: A classic set of heavy cast iron bookends depicting the three masted sailing ship "Flying Cloud" produced by the Connecticut Foundry circa 1929. These bookends measure 5 3/4" high x 6" wide x 1 7/8" deep and weigh approximately 5 lbs. for the pair. The back of the bookends have a dimpled pattern and display the foundry trademark, the name Flying Cloud, and COPR 1929. The bookends are in Excellent condition and have a dark brown finish over plated cast iron. They will make a dramatic addition to you bookcase or desk. Thanks for looking.

Damaged Item Procedure
: Please do not return items damaged in shipment, as doing so will void the shipping insurance. To begin the process, please contact the seller and alert them to the damage. Claims should be made through the original shipping agent. Guidelines for insurance claims vary by carrier so please check with the carrier for specific instructions. Be sure to retain all original packaging as well as all pieces of the damaged item, as the shipping agent will request to examine them. In the event that you, the buyer, files the claim, the seller will provide you with the necessary insurance information.
