DESCRIPTION
CONTACT ADHESIVE is a general purpose contact adhesive, based on neoprene, synthetic resins and organic solvents.
Provides strong elastic adhesion on materials and surfaces that are subject to constant deforming and stresses.
Recommended for single or double contact bonding of horizontal and vertical surfaces. It is easy to apply and spread,
Quick drying.
APPLICATION
1. Before use, shake the adhesive well and then apply a thin, even coat onto both sides of surfaces  using a smooth or very
fine notched trowel (e. g. A1 or A5) or a brush.
2. Allow both coats of adhesive to evaporate sufficiently (approx. 10 minutes) so that they are almost dry to the touch. Then
lay
the covering / profile immediately, or within the contact bond time, into exact position and rub, roll or tap hard over the
whole surface. No correction is possible. After 10-20 minutes, rub hard once again, especially on joints and at edges.
Substrate preparation:
The substrate must be level, sound, dry, free from cracks, clean and free from materials that would impair adhesion. Test the
substrate in accordance with applicable standards and notices and report any deficiencies. Contact bond surfaces must be
as smooth and flat as possible. Prime chalky or dusty surfaces, e.g. calcium, sulphate, gypsum, chipboard, etc. Thoroughly
abrade and clean dense and smooth surfaces, e. g. plastics, metals, existing wear surfaces, coatings, etc.
