    Description

The GV75 is a compact waterproof GPS tracker designed for a wide variety of vehicle tracking applications. It has multiple I/O interfaces that can be used for monitoring or controlling external devices. Its built-in GPS receiver has superior sensitivity and fast time to first fix. Its quad band GPRS/GSM subsystem supports 850/900/1800/1900 MHz allowing the GV75's location to be monitored in real time or periodically tracked by a backend server and mobile devices. Its built-in 3-axis accelerometer allows motion detection and extends battery life through sophisticated power management algorithms. System integration is straightforward as complete documentation is provided for the full featured Track protocol. The Track protocol supports a wide variety of reports including emergency, geo-fence boundary crossings, driving behavior, low battery and scheduled GPS position.
When I moved to Texas I rented a trailer from U-Haul. It was a long trip and I was concerned my stuff would get stolen during an overnight stay. Therefore I bought a GPS tracker for the trailer. It worked great but now I don't have a use for it. As displayed in the picture, I cut off the plastic connector since I didn't need it. I connected the red and white wires to the +12V and the black wire to the negative battery terminal. As an FYI below is the equipment I purchased to get it to work with the U-Haul trailer. The batteries and charger are not included in this listing. If you are interested in those items, let me know. If you use this with a vehicle, trailer or quad you probably won't need all of this. You will need to buy a service plan so you could view its location via the internet. I used trackersystems.net which was 5.99/month. -Two 12 Volt 20 Ah Rechargeable batteries. I purchased two since the trailer didn't have an engine or battery. I swapped them during the move so the GV90 always had power. -12 V Battery
