The Pioneer Add On Blind Spot Detection System is designed to assist drivers in making better decisions. The rear facing Digital Microwave Radar array of the SDA-BS1 is uniquely configured in a universal application license plate bar that can be added to practically any vehicle (not for use with vehicles with offset license plates or spare tire mounts)—without the need to cut/drill into or remove bumpers or other body panels. Providing both audible and visual alerts of vehicles or objects approaching from behind (this system will not detect objects that the vehicle is approaching or passing), the SDA-BS1 is an innovative and easy to add on aftermarket driver assist solution.
