    This listing is for an Mayumi V4 chip for Playstation 1!
    Many other listings for these chips are simply large Pic chips with wires connected to the legs.
    While those will get the job done, Why not save some hassle and have a cleaner over all install.
    These chips are attached to a clean breakout board which allows you to solder to a pad instead of the leg of a chip.
    I use premium Pic chips directly from Digikey.
    These are programmed for use with NTSC-U consoles only! (USA Ps1)
    If you have a European or Japanese console these chips will not work for you.
    The Mayumi V4 chips work on every revision of the Ps1 console Except for the early revisions with the AV Jacks.
    I highly recommend using the Mayumi over the MM3 if your Ps1 supports it. It requires 1 more wire to be installed.
