    This pure nickel strip is 0.2mm thick, which is 33% larger cross-sectional area than the standard 0.15mm thick nickel strips found on eBay. This means more amperage (up to 8 amps continuous per cell) and fewer failures. They're pure nickel, which provides better corrosion resistance and cleaner spot welds.     NOTE that this has a cross-sectional area of 2 mm^2, which is roughly the same as 14AWG; but that nickel has a lower ampacity than copper so this will handler fewer amps than a typical 14AWG copper wire.
