Description
This a Washington Capitals Road Sandow SK Dureen Knit Size 54 Game Jersey of Rollie Boutin from his 1980/81 season with the Washington Capitals. This would be his final season in the NHL and Rollie would play 2 games with the Capitals and 53 games with the AHL Hershey Bears the Capitals minor league affiliate. Rollie would be drafted in the 1977 NHL Daft in Round 7 and 111 overall. He would start his first year of Junior hockey with Swift Current in the WCHL and his next three seasons in Junior with the Lethbridge Broncos WCHL. His first season of Pro hockey would be with the Port Huron Flags IHL and his next season he would play Port Huron, Hershey and make his first appearance in the NHL with the Washington Capitals in 1978/79. After 4 seasons with the Capitals organization he would go onto play for Salt Lake City Golden Eagles and Birmingham South Stars in the CHL and finish his hockey career with the Binghampton Whalers in the AHL . This is a great piece of Washington Capitals memorabilia to have for your collection of a jersey from the original home of the Capitals at Landover Captal Center in Maryland.
