Retro-modern and built to last! TASCAM 202MKVII double cassette recorder is the successor to the TASCAM 202MKVI, continuing the long tradition ofTASCAM in the production of professional quality cassette recorders. Designed to bridge the gap between the analog and digital worlds, the 202MKVII recorder adds USB conversion to its predecessor, making it easy to digitally archive your favorite tapes. It features two twin-head decks that can be used simultaneously for two-tape recording (from the same source) or playback. It features a level-controlled microphone jack input that can be mixed with the audio from cassette 1 and recorded in real time to cassette 2, useful for karaoke or voice overs. You can also connect a musical instrument such as guitar, bass or electronic keyboard to the recorder and start recording. It also features a headphone jack output with separate level control, for audio verification or monitoring. The “SPECIAL” play mode allows you to select the next track on a tape, monitoring the sound with headphones while the other tape is playing (output from LINE OUT). In the “NORMAL” playback mode, typical of conventional models, when playing a tape in both systems, audio is output from LINE OUT and PHONES.
