Description
You are bidding on a set of Vintage 1925 L. V. Aronson Sailing Ship Boat Bookends Made In U.S.A. These are almost 100 years old and are in very good condition. Very little cleaning and touch up if any on these two beautiful vintage bookends. Not sure of the type of metal, but a magnet will not stick to it but they are heavy as one by it self weights 1 pound 12 ounces which brings it close to two pounds so I do not think they are aluminum because of the size and weight. They measure 5-1/2 inches wide and 4 inches high with a depth on the base of almost two inches. You may know the name of the founder of this fine metal works as the man who invented the "Ronson" lighter. Looking inside his last name you will find "Ronson". Just a little history for you on these fine pieces. Would weight 4 pounds packed and may be shipped out Priority or Firstclass, your choice.
